A man who lives across the street from me collects handmade birdhouses and hangs them all from a big tree in his front yard. It almost feels like a permanent art exhibit - one of the many reasons I fell in love with our neighborhood.

I remember this guy's house! We parked right between the Mini and the silver SUV in the third photo the night we took the el to the piano bar and Erstwhile joked about getting lockjaw in the rain puddle on the walk home! I remember noticing the bird houses then. Such a nice neighborhood!
