Thoughts?

I've had this blog going for 1 month now and would love to get your feedback. It's been a great outlet for me and I look forward to every post, but I also care about your thoughts. I want this blog to be a conversation instead of a show and tell.

What's been your favorite post? Your least favorite? Do you have any ideas on how to make it better? Does it keep your interest? Feel free to use the comment box to respond.

  1. Hey Kim, I think you are doing a great job with this. A person only has two eyes, except pirates who only have one eye, so there is a lot that we dont see. It is easy to pass by the same scene everyday and pick out something new and different and interesting. We have to slow down and examine our world closer. Keep up the good work.

My favorite? The clean butts post because I have dealt with butts, and the cleaner the better...

    haha!
I really liked the "green school." That school would be a fantastic place to learn. The ceiling in the classroom is awesome.

My least favorite? That website that you were asking if it is brilliant or not. it is not.

    Keep it up!

  2. I like your blog so much I added it to my toolbar, so I can pop in with one click during those random, I-desperately-need-an-escape-NOW moments in the day. Or when I just want a 2-minute foray into something quirky, creative and fun.

I've also sent Window Seat links to friends a few times because I saw things on the blog that reminded me of a person or fit a need, situation or question of theirs.

I'm not a designer, so some of the more graphic design-centric posts don't set my pond on fire, so to speak, but I don't find them particularly disinteresting either. I just like seeing weird, off beat, uplifting, smile-inducing stuff that makes me scratch my head -- whether it's a design-related post or just something that made you pause for whatever reason.

I think what I like best about your blog is that each entry is like a little snapshot of the way your mind is working. It reminds me why you are such a cool person and a person who I like -- someone who's still delighted by the little things and shares that wonder with others. Plus, sometimes the stuff you find is really cool, and I like knowing it's out there.

I say keep it up, and keep the posts as varied and spur-of-the-moment as they seem to be now. If it tickles your fancy, there's your indication of whether it's post-worthy or not. It's fun to see what you've come across.
